BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completionwould be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide,will be built into a role model for smart manufacturingsustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologiesapplying the highest safety standards.
Main Tasks:
- Develop the relevant proceduresworkflow for substation initial energizationtransition operation after energization till substation hand-over to operation,
- Collaborate with central project management teamcluster project construction team to optimize the energization planningscheduling,
- Interface leading role with project construction manager for electrical automation system loop check,
- Lead team to conduct the site acceptance inspection for the mechanical completion, readiness reviewverification check for substation startup,
- Collaborate with site EHS, project teamplant operation team etc. to prepare the Safety Review prior to substation energization.
- Command the initial energization of new substations
- Maintains the transition operation of power supplydistribution, substation operation, including safety, environment, supply quantity & reliabilityassets effectiveness.
- Assist project operation manager (POM) to achieve the project requirementstargets regarding cost, schedule, risk, quality,safety.
- Completes other tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Take safety responsibilities with detailed information in Annex.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degreeabove, majored in chemical, engineeringrelated,
- 10+ years work experience on electrical power supply operation/maintenance/projec , 5+ years team leading experience,
- Fluent English speakingwriting capability, competent to chair meetingdiscussion in English , Familiar with MS office, good writingreporting skill.
- Good communication skill, conflict management, EHS management, teamwork spirit.
